Below are some local organizations and efforts that you can put your power and money behind. Get involved and support!

African American Roundtable (AART) - organizes, nurtures, and transforms Black leaders to build power in service of Black liberation. AART is a joyful, political home for Black people to thrive in liberated, interconnected communities.

Black Leaders Organizing for Communities (BLOC) - builds community block by block. BLOC works to ensure a high quality of life and access to opportunities for members of the Black community in Milwaukee and throughout Wisconsin.

Cactus Club + - mission is to create an artist-centered model for multimedia arts education and community building that champions accessibility, inclusivity and sustainability.

Milwaukee Freedom Fund (MFF) - is part of a movement to end pretrial detention and ultimately mass incarceration. We pay bail for people primarily in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. We support people who are most impacted by structural violence. Paying bail for folks that can not afford to, restores the presumption of innocence, reunites families, and challenges a system that criminalizes race and poverty. We pay bail as a direct action toward bail abolition. Through community political education, releasing people from pre-trial detention and supporting abolition and protester efforts, Milwaukee Freedom Fund builds on a legacy of Black liberation and fights for a humane and just future.

Comite sin Fronteras - is a committee of Voces de la Frontera. Comite sin Fronteras  organize undocumented young adult immigrants to advocate for a pro-immigrant state and nation.

Diverse & Resilient - works to achieve health equity and improve the safety and well-being of LGBTQ people and communities in Wisconsin.

Hmong American Women’s Association (HAWA) - is a grassroots, culturally-specific, community-based, social justice organization serving the Southeast Asian (primarily individuals who identify as women/youth/girls and LGBTQ) community in Milwaukee County. We focus on supporting survivors of intimate-partner and family violence through advocacy, education, and awareness.

Leaders Igniting Transformation (LIT) -  is a Black and Brown-led independent nonprofit. Founded in 2017, LIT organizes young people to build independent political power for social, racial and economic justice. We engage in values-based issues and electoral organizing, direct action, public policy advocacy and leadership development.

Milwaukee Anti-War Committee - We are a grassroots anti-war organization committed to de-militarization and fighting the U.S war machine.

Milwaukee Alliance Against Racist and Political Oppression - is a Black and brown-led grassroots organization fighting for community control of the police in order to end police crimes committed primarily against the poor and Black, Indigenous, and brown people. We demand the creation of a civilian police accountability council, or CPAC, to ensure that our community is in direct control of our police force. We were founded in 1973 and our parent organization was National United Committees to Free Angela Davis and All Political Prisoners. Today we see the police occupation of communities and mass incarceration as the two greatest obstacles to our fight for democracy and liberation.

Milwaukee Turners - working for social justice since 1853, the Milwaukee Turners are the oldest civic group in the city, dedicated to strengthening our community based on the ideal of a “Sound Mind in a Sound Body.” Our guiding principles are “Liberty against all oppression; Tolerance against all fanaticism; Reason against all superstition; and Justice against all exploitation.”

Sun-Seeker MKE/Butterfly Collective - is a Black & Trans abolitionist collective co-conspiring to build holistic safety & security for Black communities, Trans comrades & M.A.G.E.S.
